God's Storehouse in Meriden, KS.  Seen in this photo from left to right are Collin Ellis (JWMS FCCLA), Joanie Clelland and Nancy Boden (God's Storehouse representatives), Kole Davis and Justin Luttman (JWMS FCCLA).  The three chapter members raised $720.00 by organizing the Celebrate Families Day in Meriden, KS by kicking of the day with a 5K Run, Walk, Limp, and Crawl Powder Run.   Finishing first in the 5 K overall was Peyton Campidilli (age 9) with a time of 21:44.9, second was Jay Jackson (age 41) with a time of 21:45.2, and Jacob Hamon (age 12) with a time 21:56.9. Sponsors for the 5 K included:  Road I.D., GreatLife Golf & Fitness, LPCC Fitness 24/7, Country Harvest Apple Market, Advantage Communications, Allison’s Hair Designs, R & S Maintenance of Meriden, Meriden Chiropractic, Andy Conser-United Country R. Pools & Spas, FW Huston Medical Center, Winchester, Healthyfully You, Jefferson Assembly of God, Leavenworth Jefferson Electric Cooperation, LJB Doors, Windows & Remodeling, Meriden-Ozawkie Public Library, St. Aloysius Church, and Summers, Spencer & Companies.  The local Ameri Corps also volunteered with the race. The JWMS FCCLA chapter will be taking their project to San Antonio in July to compete in the Student’s Taking Action with Recognition Events.
