PROJECTS

Walk and Talk!

At this event, families could come and converse, and exercise at the same time! It was a good way for the families to talk, exercise, and strengthen the family relationships!

Children's Play Day!

At this event, our group took in children for a few hours, and gave the parents some time to christmas shop if they wanted to. We had the children make cookie dough to take back to the parents, play some games, and we ended it with watching a movie, and drinking some hot cocoa!

Adopt a Family!

At this event, we adopted some families, and went to get them some gifts that they not only wanted, but also needed. We then delivered them to our local church, and they gave them to God Storehouse.

Powder 5K Walk/Run! April 5th, 2014

At this event, we will host a 5K where families, or individuals have the oportunity to come, and exercise, talk, and strengthen relationships in the community! We will hope to have a lot of volunteers to throw the powder (made of cornstarch and dye), pass out water, and direct the runners!
